Wayne Paul Hildreth

Wayne Paul Hildreth, 68, of Siler City, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 9th, 2024, at UNC Hospital.

Wayne was born in Washington DC on May 29th, 1956. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Betty Ruth “Ruthie” Powell.

Wayne was a US Army veteran and was a retired truck driver. He loved watching Nascar and football, especially when his New Orleans Saints was playing.

He is survived by his brother-in-law, Steven L. Griffin and wife, Deborah of Siler City.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.

Smith & Buckner Funeral Home will be assisting the Hildreth family.
