Uriel Casarrubias Catalan

Uriel Casarrubias Catalan, 19, of Siler City, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Chatham Hospital.
Mr. Catalan was born in Mexico on March 30, 2003, the son of Roberto Casarrubias and Remedios Catalan.

Uriel worked in construction. He played soccer where he was the goal keeper. Uriel loved video games. He was a loving and caring soul who adored his family.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Manuel Casarrubias Catalan; sisters, Daniela, Aine, and Elizabeth Casarrubias Catalan; maternal grandparents, Felipe Catalan Fariaz and Petra Casarrubias Hernandez; and paternal grandparents, Ermengildo Casarrubias Quiroz and Abraham Hernandez Campos.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 N. Second Ave, Siler City. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at St. Julia Catholic Church, 210 Harold Hart Rd., Siler City with Friar Luis officiating. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Park.

Uriel trabajaba en la construcción. Jugaba al fútbol donde era el portero. A Uriel le encantaban los videojuegos. Era un alma amorosa y cariñosa que adoraba a su familia.

La familia recibira a amigos/familiares el Viernes Noviembre 18, 2022 de 6:00-8:00 pm en Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 N. Second Ave., Siler City. El servicio funebre sera alas 10:00 AM el sabado Noviembre 19, 2022 en Santa Julia, 210 Harold Hart Rd., Siler City con el Friar Luis. El entierro sera despues de misa en Chatham Memorial Park.
