Tracy Darin White

Tracy Darin White, 59, of Goldston, passed away Tuesday, August 12th, 2025, at SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan Hospice Center in Hillsborough.

Tracy was born May 29th, 1966, in Lee County, to William Thomas White and Carolyn Gaines Gilliland. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Tracy loved watching sports of all kinds. He liked racing, baseball, and football. He enjoyed listening to music. His favorite thing was his yard. He loved working in his yard and making it look beautiful. Tracy loved his family and loved spending time and making memories with them. He never met a stranger and loved making people smile.

Left to cherish Tracy’s memory are his daughter, McKenzie Turner and her husband, Tyler of Siler City; his sons, Tristan Darin White and his significant other, Jennifer Baldwin of Raleigh, and Taylor White and his wife Janna of Goldston; his grandchildren, Jamesley White and Raena Turner; his sisters, Teresa Binkley and her husband, Gerald of Goldston, Robin Holland of Goldston, Jill Williams and her husband, Josh of Florida, and Janet Gilliland of Goldston; his brothers, Jay Gilliland and his wife, Jacqueline, and Jason Gilliland and his wife, Megan, both of Goldston; his stepdad, J.B. Gilliland and his wife, Jackie; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held Friday, August 15th, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Gaines Grove Cemetery in Goldston. Services will be officiated by Timmy Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gaines Grove Cemetery, c/o Lucy Gaines-Emerson, 137 Oren Gaines Rd., Goldston, NC 27252.
