Summer Janeth Soria-Mora

Summer Janeth Soria-Mora, 16, of Siler City, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, at home.

Summer was born on September 25th, 2009, in Orange County to Karl Soria and Angeles Mora. She is survived by her parents, her two sisters, Daphne and Luna; her two brothers, Aiden and Sean; her stepfather, Roberto Puertos; and many friends.

Summer was a sophomore at Jordan Matthews High School, where she played the Alto Sax in the All-County band and the school band. She was a vibrant, loving, and kind girl with the world ahead of her. Summer was known for her kind heart, love for her family, and devotion to her church. Summer is described as the sweetest person with a soul full of kindness. She loved spending time with her loved ones, especially hanging out with family and attending church.

The family will be accepting friends and family at the home from Saturday, January 10th to Sunday, January 11th.
