Steven Lane Dixon

Steven Lane Dixon, 65, of Siler City died Friday, March 23, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Dixon was born October 28, 1952 the son of Samuel Hobart and June Jessup Dixon.

Steven was a native of Chatham County and worked as a truck driver. In college he played on the basketball teams for Middle Tennessee State and Stetson College. Steven loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna Gay Dixon of the home, son: Josh Dixon and wife, Michelle of Bear Creek, mother; June Jessup Dixon of Siler City, brother: Lee Dixon and wife, Betty of Siler City, grandchildren, Haley, Blake, Samantha Dixon.

A graveside service will be held at Oakley Baptist Church Cemetery, Monday March 26, 2018, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Fellowship Hall.
