Sarah Elizabeth Snyder Skinner, 51, of Siler City, went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 20, 2026.

She was born on December 24, 1974, in Japan the daughter of Gilbert Snyder and Lynn Norman. Sarah's memory is treasured by her parents of Wilmington, NC, her husband of 29 years Rev. Michael Skinner of the home, her sons Ben Skinner of Icard and Matthew Skinner of Brevard, NC.

Sarah's memory is also cherished by brother Steve Snyder and wife Stephanie of Topsail, NC, along with her nephews, Joshua Skinner and Drew Snyder; and her niece, Kaylee Melvin; and many uncles, aunts and friends. Sarah graduated from Wilmington Christian Academy and attended a year at BJU. She had a servant's heart and loved encouraging others, especially children and senior adults. Sarah served alongside her husband in churches across the state. She enjoyed singing in the choir and sometimes filled in as pianist. Her smile would light up the room and her love warm the heart. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Sarah's services will be conducted at Rives Chapel Baptist Church, Siler City, NC on Monday, March 23, 2026 with visitation at 10:00 am and Celebration of her Life following at 11:00 am, with Bob Stacy officiating. The graveside service will be 4:00 pm at Riegelwood Baptist Church in Riegelwood, NC.
