Sarah “Ann” Pinson, of Bear Creek, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on October 15, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.

Ann was born on February 21, 1958, to Sarah Rachel Joye Martin and Clay Clark.

Ann loved entertaining family and friends with her husband, Ronnie, enjoying good music, and having a good ol’ time. She also appreciated the simple, beautiful things in life, from tending to her plants and feeding the hummingbirds to spending time fishing. These simple pleasures brought her happiness and reflected her love for life's little joys.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James Kenneth Rives; her sister, Betty Jean Elkins; and her brother, Edmond Alexander Clark, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Eugene Pinson; her daughter, Cheryl Renee Rives; her granddaughters, Chloe and Penelope Conklin; her brothers, John Roger Clark and Clyde David Clark; many cherished nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Pookie.

A Celebration of Life honoring Ann will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home in Siler City, North Carolina.

Ann leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a lasting place in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
