Sandra "Sandy" McMath GeBauer

Sandra "Sandy" Lee McMath GeBauer 70, of High Point, earned her angel wings on Sunday, June 18,2023. Daughter of the late Carl & Leola McMath.

Sandy is proceeded in death by her sister Susan (Jerry) Oaks and her husband of many years Patrick GeBauer who remained her best friend for his entire life...

Sandy is survived by her brothers Martin (Dottie) McMath, Robert (Cathy) McMath.
Her children, Mindie (Jeremy) Olge, Patrick (Julie) GeBauer, Carl GeBauer (Beth), Brandy (Timmy) Butchart and her grandchildren Carl GeBauer, Caleb, Katie, Abigail, Greyson, and Meaghan GeBauer, Lilith McAthur, and many nieces and nephews.

She left the world surrounded by family and loved ones after a warriors' fight against dementia and kidney failure. 
Sandy graduated from Smith High School. She started a career as a telephone operator with a corkboard going on to retire from AT&T/BellSouth. She also retired after many more years from NCO group, also as an operator. She also worked as a farmer and a wonderful mother. 

She taught patience strength, love for animals and people the same. She taught you to see the beauty in life, please join us to celebrate her beauty the she embraced so gracefully. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11:00am at Hickory Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Casey Rayfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
