Roy Dean Maness, Jr.

Roy Dean "DJ" Maness, Jr., 60, of Siler City, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Mr. Maness was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on December 15, 1962, the son of Roy Dean Maness, Sr., and Peggy Earl Mullis.

DJ enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and most importantly, being with his family. He was passionate about his family heritage. While DJ appeared as a rebel, he was very compassionate. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. DJ is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Jolly; children, Nicole Parker of Charlotte, Jessie Michelle Halsey of High Point, and Casey Davis; grandsons, Robert Parker and Levi Parker, both of Charlotte; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the home of Jackie Dunn, 4671 Silk Hope Liberty Rd., Siler City, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Hydrocephalus Foundation of your choice
