Ralph Ronald Wilson, 82, of Siler City died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Siler City Center.
Mr. Wilson was born in Randolph County on January 16, 1936 the son of Paul and Ruby (Phillips) Wilson. Ralph retired from Selig Manufacturing where he worked in the finishing department. Ralph enjoyed playing golf, working in his vegetable and flower gardens, watching NASCAR. Ralph was a man of God who loved the lord and his family above all. He also enjoyed the outdoors, time spent with his family and friends and attending the church services at the Siler City Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Berta Mae Tillman; brothers, C. D., Ray and Ed Wilson.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 61 years: Shirley (Wright) Wilson; two daughters: Starla Sutton of Siler City and Tammy Braxton of Graham; two brothers: Arthur Wilson and wife, Betty and Jerry Wilson and wife, Carol all of Bear Creek; grandchildren, Zachary Wilson Petty, Lindsey Braxton Crutchfield and husband Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Logan, Aubrey and Natalie. The family will gather for a Celebration of Life Service Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the entire staff at the Siler City center. Especially, the 4th Hall Nurses, CNA's and the dining room staff.
