Peggy Lee Moody Lecroy, age 75, of Siler City, passed away on March 28, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Peggy was born on April 26, 1950, in Chatham County, to the late Hubert Moody and Pauline Moffitt. She was a caring and compassionate woman who truly loved helping others. Peggy had a deep love for her family, especially her mother, and she also had a special place in her heart for her animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward Lecroy.

Peggy is survived by her sisters, Barbara Bowman, of Graham; Helen Reynolds (Jerry), of Siler City; Brenda Gray, of Siler City; her brother, Steve Moody, of Snow Camp; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
