Peggy Jean Crain Tucker

Peggy Crain Tucker, 82, of Siler City died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Carrboro on February 2, 1936 the daughter of Ernest D. and Bessie Bell (Pendergrass) Crain. Peggy was a member of Moon's Chapel Baptist Church where she taught Adult Sunday School Class for several years. She had also work at Belk's Department Store in Siler City. Peggy enjoyed working with crafts, painting and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lloyd Tucker; her parents and sisters, Billie Williams, Dewey Belle Crain, Louvella Rouse, Barbara Dennis.

Peggy is survived by son: Michael Tucker and wife, Donna of Raleigh; daughter: Terri Bordeaux and husband, Darrell of High Point; brother: Eddie Crain and wife, Brenda of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Tracy Bullock and husband, Chris, Meredith Mallory and husband, David, Christopher Tucker and wife, Katie, Leah Bryant and husband, Joshua, Rebekah Bordeaux and fiancé, Zac Lassiter; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Claire, Tucker, Gray, Jackson, Reagan and Luke; special friend, Jimmy Coward.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 21, 2018 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Moon's Chapel Baptist Church, 175 Moon's Chapel Road, Siler City, NC. The funeral will follow Friday at 11:00 AM at Moon's Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. Patrick Fuller and Rev. Scott Faw officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
