Patricia Kyle Denton Rounds

Patricia Denton Rounds, 65, daughter of the late Kyle Denton and Mary Vines was born in Bristol, Tennessee on March 31, 1952 and died in her home on January 4, 2018 after a valiant fight with cancer. Patricia graduated from Mary Washington College with a degree in History. She worked tirelessly for Chatham County Libraries for 25 years. Patricia then spent her remaining retired years with her four Welsh Pembroke corgis and her numerous hobbies. She is survived by her two daughters: Kate Rounds of Dallas, NC and Ellen Willis and husband, Kelly of Cherryville, NC,

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to the ASPCA or the American Cancer Society. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
