Ollie Mae Lineberry

Ollie Mae Brewer Lineberry, 82, of Siler City died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Lineberry was born in Chatham County on April 30, 1934 the daughter of Clyde S. and Effie (Hicks) Brewer. Ollie was a member of Loves Creek Baptist Church and the Women's Sunday School Class # 3. She retired from Byrd's Food Store. She had also worked for the cafeteria at Siler City Elementary School and Kayser Roth in Pittsboro. Ollie enjoyed working crossword puzzles, cooking, bowling, crocheting, "raising" her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Shirley Jean. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Richard A. Lineberry, Jr.; one daughter: Robin L. Askins and husband, Tally of Bear Creek; two sons: Ronald "Ronnie" K. Lineberry and wife, Jennifer of Greensboro, Richie C. Lineberry and wife, Jenny of Siler City; two sisters: Bea B. Smith of Clayton and Phyllis B. Cook of Siler City and three brothers: James S. Brewer of Thomasville, John L. Brewer of Asheboro and Clarence T. Brewer of Siler City; grandchildren, Lauren Underwood, Trey and Morgan Lineberry, Holly Askins, Caleb and Nate Lineberry. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Loves Creek Baptist Church, 1745 East 11th Street, Siler City, NC. The funeral will follow Saturday at 2:00 PM .with Rev. Kenny Black officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
