Michael Foster Watson

Michael F. "Mike" Watson, 61, of NC Hwy 42, Goldston died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his home. Mike was born on July 17, 1954 in Chatham County, and was the son of Benjamin N. and Treva (Foster) Watson. He was an Army Veteran and was employed with Bear Creek Arsenal as a inspector. Mike was a loving husband, son and always enjoyed having fun. A collector of many things, he was a night owl person, playing video games, loved watching the Adam's Family movies and putting together Deviances Wood Product. Mike was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 28 years: Jackie Klingler Watson; mother; Treva (Foster) Watson; one sister: Becky Watson of Quincy, MA; one brother: Benny Watson and wife, Karen of Bear Creek, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A Memorial service will follow at a later date.
