Michael Irving Neher

Michael Irving Neher, 80, of Siler City, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, May 8th, 2025, at Dunmore Senior Living.

Michael was born November 10th, 1944, in Washington, DC to the late Glenn and Helen Kennedy Neher. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Kristine Neher.

Michael was a United States Air Force veteran who served in the Vietnam War. After serving his country, he was a police officer in Montgomery County, Maryland. After leaving the police force, he became a Commercial Airline Pilot, from which he retired. Left to cherish his memory are his former wife, Aurora Neher; his son, Kenneth Neher; his daughters, Laura Cavallero, and Stephanie Neher; his grandchildren, Kayla Neher, Alyssa Neher, Alex Neher, Nicholas Neher, Broden Fried, Brandon Chaney, and Gabriella Cavallero; his brother, Glenn Neher, Jr.; his sister, Linda McGee; and his aunt, Hilda Short, cousins, and nieces.
