Mattie Ava Jones Ritter

Mattie Ava Jones Ritter, 84, of 1864 Staley Store Road, Liberty died Friday, November 25, 2011. Mrs. Ritter was born February 7, 1927 the daughter of John Franklin and Roxie Jane (Duncan) Jones. Mrs. Ritter was a native of Chatham County and member of Pleasant Grove Wesleyan Church. She retired from Acme-McCrary Hosiery. She is survived by her son: Ben Poe, one grandson, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 5:00-6:30 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 28, 2011 at Rocky River Friends Meeting, 1795 Staley-Snow Camp Road, Siler City with Rev. Noah Alvarez and Rev. Hank Brady officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
