Martha Katherine Groce

Katherine Groce, 83, of Siler City died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Siler City Center. Katherine was born in Guilford County on August 10, 1933 the daughter of William Carl and Beluah Irene (Harmon) Groce. She was a member at Rocky River Baptist Church and retired from A. J. Schneierson. She was a former member of the Chatham Hospital Auxillary and Eastern Star # 9. She is survived by sisters: Barbara Teague and Margie Cockman; brother: Charles Groce all of Siler City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rocky River Baptist Church, 4436 Siler City-Snow Camp Road, Siler City. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 at Rocky River Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Burriss and Rev. Jim Folks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
