Marta Irene Huezo

Marta Irene Huezo, 65, of 1108 West Third Street, Siler City died Friday, May 12, 2017 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.

Mrs. Huezo was born on October 20, 1951 in El Salvador, the daughter of Gregorio and Maria Luz (Huezo) Rivas. She was retired from Townsends Poultry and was a member of Iglesia Nueve Jerusalen Church.

She is survived by her husband: Matilde Peraza, one daughter: Marta Celia Pineda and two sons: Arturo Peraza and Moises Peraza; one sister: Savina Huezo Rivas; brothers, David, Juan and Visente Huezo; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 15, 2017 from 4:00 PM-until at Iglesia Nueva Jerusalen Church, 368 Lighthouse Church Road, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Iglesia Nueva Jerusalen, 368 Lighthouse Church Road, Siler City, with Pastor David Canales and Predicador Rene Rosales officiating.

Burial will be in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the Huezo Family.
