Maria Van Lith

Maria "Mitzi" Dunst Van Lith, 97, of Ocean Pines, Maryland, formerly of Silk Hope died Monday, April 17, 2017 at Catered Living Of Ocean Pines, Maryland. Mrs. Van Lith was born in Moschandorf, Austria on December 19, 1919 the daughter of Stephen and Anna (Tukovitz) Dunst. She was a homemaker and attended St. Julia Catholic Parrish. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Van Lith. She is survived by one daughter: Helen Van Lith and husband, Ed Holland of Ocean Pines, MD; sons, Walter Van Lith and wife, Lan of Myrtle Beach, SC, Martin Van Lith and wife, Anita Cohen of Long Island, New York; five grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Chatham Memorial Park, 13260 Hwy 64 West, Siler City with Father Jack officiating. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
