Malda Davis

Malda Andrew Davis, 89, of Siler City, N.C., died Friday, November 23, 2012, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. Mrs. Davis was born June 28, 1923, the daughter of the Rev. Albert H. and Alma (Teague) Andrew. Mrs. Davis was a native of Alabama, a homemaker, a member of Loves Creek Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and also served on the Benevolence Committee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Davis, her brother, Eugene Andrew and her sister, Erma A. Richardson. She is survived by her sons: Ronald K. Davis, wife, Pamdoria of Cameron, Kenny D. Davis, wife, Sherri of Siler City. Her grandson, Keith Davis, wife, Erin of Sanford, along with step- grandsons, Tracy Gautier and Daniel Gautier of Sanford. A special niece, Marilyn Cole of Siler City and a special nephew, Gary Richardson, wife, Patsy of Orlando, FL. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Loves Creek Baptist Church located at 1745 East 11th Street, Siler City, NC 27344. Funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM with burial in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Loves Creek Baptist Church General Fund or to the Benevolence Committee, 1745 East 11th Street, Siler City, N.C. 27344
