Malcolm "Rick" Riggsbee Coleman, 71, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 7, 2026. 

He was born in Chatham County, to Malcolm Edward Colman and Shirley Hope Coleman. 

Rick loved hunting, fishing and riding with his side-kick pup, Roxie.

He is preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Edward Coleman. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marti; his mother, Shirley Hope Coleman; his daughter, Michelle (Billy) Johnson; sons, Wes (Kristen) Coleman and Travis Coleman; his brother, Bryant (Karen) Coleman; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five nieces; three great-nephews and six great-nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM, August 15th, 2026, at Smith & Buckner Chapel.

The Reverend Jon Reece will officiate services.
