Madison Marie Hayes, 26, of Siler City, entered her Heavenly home on Friday, June 5th, 2026.

Madison was born in Lee County on May 10th, 2000, to Joey Hayes and Amy Hayes. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, who she loved very much.

Madison was someone who made her presence known in any room she walked into. Whether that was making videos with her singing or dancing to her favorite songs. Madison could always be found with an animal by her side – dogs, cats, you name it. Madison had a deep love for food and bringing her family along with her to her favorite restaurants. Madison rarely knew a stranger and her family is thankful to always receive Madison’s love with a smile, laughs, and a tad bit of sass. Left to cherish Madison’s memories are her father, Joey Adam Hayes of Siler City; her mother, Amy Hayes of Greensboro; her two brothers, Cason Hayes (17) of Siler City, and Joseph Hayes (4) of Pleasant Garden; her three sisters, Hayley Hayes (29) of Siler City, Chloe Page (15) of Pittsboro, and Ansley Hayes (5) of Pleasant Garden; her grandparents, Billy and Sandra Siler and John and Mary Hayes; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who she deeply loved.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at 1 pm, at Life Springs Church in Sanford, NC. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, from 6-8 pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services Wednesday in Edward Hill Cemetery at 3 pm. Services will be officiated by Pastor Daniel Owens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Joey Hayes at 884 Bonlee Bennett Rd., Siler City, NC 27344 to assist the family in funeral expenses. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home will be assisting the Hayes family.
