Louise Brown Womble, 90, of Siler City, died Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Louise was born in Randolph County on January 29, 1936, to Clyde Z. Brown and Daisy Coble Brown. She was a sewer at Kellwood Hosiery for many years. She loved spending time with her family.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Sandra McNeill; grandson, Forrest T. McNeill; brothers, Richard Brown and wife, Anne, Bobby Brown and wife, Sherry, and Jimmy Brown and wife, Pam; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Earl Womble; brothers, Ernest, Vernon, Frank and Clyde Brown; and son-in-law, Tommy McNeill.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 6pm-8pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 2pm, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with the burial following in the church cemetery with Rev. Don Edwards officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery fund in memory of Louise.
