Larry Franklin Staley

Larry Franklin Staley, 52 of 144 Thompson-Staley Lane, Siler City died Saturday, March 10, 2012. Mr. Staley was born December 27, 1959, the son of Arthur Eugene and Lillian Haithcox Staley. Mr. Staley was a native of Chatham County and was a carpenter. Larry was preceded in death by brother, Dale W. Staley. He is survived by a daughter: Juliann Frances Staley and son-in-law Anthony Elvington of Asheboro, NC, parents Arthur Eugene and Lillian Haithcox Staley of Siler City, NC, sister; Tammy Staley of Siler City, NC; two grandchildren, Macey and Blake Elvington; girlfriend, Vivian Greene of Siler City, NC The visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Monday, March 12, 2012 at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home in Siler City, and other times at the home of his parents. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday March 13, 2012 at Gilmore Memorial Park, Julian, NC. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
