Kelly Nicole Guthrie, 35, suddenly passed away at Moore County Regional Hospital, Wednesday afternoon, July 9, 2025.

A native of Chatham County, NC, Kelly was born, daughter to Jerry Guthrie and the late Jenny Lind Holt.

Kelly was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met. She loved cooking, especially for her family. Kelly had a wonderful voice and loved to sing to gospel and country music.

In addition to her father, Kelly is survived by her sons, Woodrow Boutwell and Brandon Patterson; her partner, Kenneth Patterson, her brother, Michael S. Guthrie (Sylvia); her half-siblings, Tommy Guthrie and Penny Guthrie; her niece, Abigail Guthrie; her nephews, Devyn Guthrie and Carter Guthrie; and her dog, Moo Moo.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jenny and her grandmother, Frankie Flippin.

Services for Kelly will be private.
