Jose David Cruz Salvador

José David Cruz Salvador, de 84 años, residente de Siler City, falleció el lunes 28 de abril de 2025 en el Hospital UNC Chapel Hill.

José nació el 9 de noviembre de 1940 en Morazán, El Salvador, hijo de José Valentín Cruz y Santos Salvador. Le precedió en la muerte su esposa, Tomasa Saravina De Cruz.

José trabajaba en la construcción, reparando carreteras, y estaba afiliado a la Iglesia Pentecostés. Le sobreviven sus hijos: Eligio Cruz, Efraín Cruz, Humberto Cruz, René Cruz, Guadalupe Cruz, Marvin Cruz y Orlando Cruz; sus veintitrés nietos y diecisiete bisnietos.

El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo el sábado 2 de mayo de 2025 a la 1 p. m. en el Cementerio Oakwood. El velatorio se realizará el jueves 1 de mayo de 2025, de 18:00 a 20:00 h, en la Funeraria Smith & Buckner, y el viernes 2 de mayo de 2025, a las 18:00 h, en la Iglesia Pentecostés, ubicada en 801 E. 3rd St., Siler City, NC 27344. El servicio será oficiado por el pastor Marvin Cruz.

Jose was born November 9th, 1940, in Morazan, El Salvador to Jose Valentin Cruz and Santos Salvador. He is preceded in death by his wife, Tomasa Saravina De Cruz.

Jose worked in construction doing road repair and was affiliated with Iglesia Pentecostes Church. He is survived by his sons, Eligio Cruz, Efrain Cruz, Humberto Cruz, Rene Cruz, Guadalupe Cruz, Marvin Cruz, and Orlando Cruz; his twenty-three grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 2nd, 2025, at 1 pm, at Oakwood Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, from 6-8 pm, at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home and another visitation on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, at 6 pm, at Iglesia Pentecostes Church, 801 E. 3rd St., Siler City, NC 27344. Services will be officiated by Pastor Marvin Cruz.
