Jonathan Mark Petty

Jonathan Mark Petty, 27, of Bonlee-Bennett Road, Siler City was healed when he went to be with his Lord Thursday, February 15, 2018 at UNC Healthcare, Chapel Hill.

Mr. Petty was born in Guilford County on October 10, 1990 the son of Walter and Abby (Gauldin) Petty. Jonathan is survived by his parents; brothers, Adam Petty and wife, Brittany of Garner, and Jacob Petty of Apex; nephew, Easton Petty; maternal grandmother, Lodis Gauldin of Lillington; maternal grandfather, Paul Gauldin of Buies Creek; paternal grandparents, Buck Petty and wife, Elaine of Bear Creek.

Before his health issues became confining Jonathan enjoyed traveling with his family, fishing, sports, helping his Dad with generator work, and the whole family being together. He loved his family and admired his two older brothers.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 17,2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Tyson's Creek Baptist Church Family Life Center, 10891 Siler City-Glendon Road, Bear Creek, NC. The funeral will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Tyson's Creek Baptist Church, 10891 Siler City-Glendon Road, Bear Creek with Rev. Scott Walker officiating. Burial will be in Tyson's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
