Jared Charles Spruill

Jared Spruill, 40, of Siler City, passed away August 2, 2025. He was born September 23, 1984 and grew up in Pamlico County, North Carolina. 

He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Kim Spruill, his sister, Erin Spruill Bode and her husband, Stephen Bode and niece Penny Bode. 

Jared enjoyed being outside and discovering the simple things in nature. He loved his dog Vashj and spent countless hours playing with her. His collection of Legos attests to his love of working with his hands, building things and attention to detail. His sense of humor and dry wit was always on display at gatherings with family and friends. Jared will be greatly missed by everyone. 

A celebration of life will be announced sometime in the future.

 In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Chatham County Animal Shelter.
