James "Jimmy" Earl Nunley

James “Jimmy” Earl Nunley, 63, of Bear Creek, passed away on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, unexpectedly.

Jimmy was born on December 8th, 1961, in Cecil County, MD, to James Thomas Nunley and Phyllis Grace Phillips. He is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis; his brother, Leon Nunley; his great nephew, Jacob Nunley; and his great niece, Kinsey Nunley.

Jimmy loved his truck and enjoyed going fishing. His greatest love of all was his family and spending time with them making memories. Left to cherish Jimmy’s memory is his father, James Thomas Nunley and his wife, Betty of Siler City; his brother, Douglas Nunley and his wife Donna of Bear Creek; his two sisters, Joyce Douglas and her husband, Shawn of Thomasville, and Thelma Louise Sawyers and her husband, Freddy of Trinity; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
