Henry Thomas Jones

Henry Thomas Jones, 67, of Staley died Monday, May 1, 2017 at Chatham Hospital. Mr. Jones was born in Chatham County on May 9, 1949 the son of David Coy and Marandy Almond (Hicks) Jones. He was retired from Collins & Aikman and had worked at WalMart, he enjoyed gardening, yard work and trips to Caraway Speedway.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Charlotte (Stout) Jones; two daughters: Amanda Dunlap of Staley and Anissa Clark of Siler City; one son: Richard Jones of Staley; three sisters: Betty Campbell of Silk Hope, Mae Stovall of Siler City, and Kay Hinshaw of Siler City; one brother: Elmer Jones of Silk Hope; grandsons, Eric Clark, Davy Smith and Joseph Dunlap; great-granddaughter, Abigail Smith. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
