Hal Carter Gaines

Hal Carter Gaines, 50, of Bear Creek died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Siler City Care & Rehabilitation. Mr. Gaines was born August 23, 1961 the son of William Clarence and Marjorie (Tally) Gaines. Mr. Gaines was a native of Chatham County and had been employed in the dye house at Kellwood Manufacturing. He attended Antioch Baptist Church and enjoyed drawing. Hal was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gail Ashley. He is survived by three sisters: Lydia T. Tart of Randleman, NC, Kay G. Keck and husband, Robert of Apex, NC, Kathy G. Woody of Lillington, NC and three brothers: Paul Gaines and wife, Crystal of Kernersville, NC, Mike Gaines and wife, Lisa of Siler City, NC, Mark Gaines of Siler City, NC. A private family graveside service will be held.
