Glenn Ray Murphy

Glenn Ray Murphy, 65, of Siler City, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Murphy was born in Chatham County on August 21, 1957, the son of Jesse and Irene Moody Murphy.

Glenn was of the Baptist Faith. He loved the NY Yankees, and enjoyed watching the Carolina Panthers play football. Glenn tinkered in woodworking after retiring from being a Fork Lift Operator. He liked spending time playing musical instruments, especially the dobro player. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Wayne Murphy.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna Bolinger Murphy; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
