George Orin Walz

George Orin Walz, 88, of 100 H. J. Williams Road, Siler City died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Walz was born October 2, 1923. Mr. Walz was a native of Indiana. George served in the Navy, worked for Wells Fargo as a courier and was a member of Community Baptist Church, where he came to know the Lord, September 1, 2011. He was a member of American Legion in Siler City, enjoyed fishing and his favorite saying was, "I Did It My Way". He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Peternella "Nell" Walz, of the home, daughters: Joanna Soriano of Hollywood, FL, Delores Sanchez of New Smyrna Beach, FL, son: Robert Walz of Boston, MA, step-sons, Jack Lee Box of Concord, NC; Dennis Box of Leesburg, FL.and step-daughter, Teri Stephens of Siler City, NC; twelve grandchildren and twenty two great- grandchildren.
