Garland Lee "Chick" Ferguson

Garland Lee “Chick” Ferguson, 76, of Liberty, went home to be with his Lord and savior Friday, January 19^th, 2024.

He was the son of the late Lee Verne “Bun” and Lula Mae Robbins Ferguson. Chick was born in Randolph County on October 4^th, 1947. Chick enjoyed a simple country life. He loved his chickens, goats, and gardening. He liked joking around with people and making them laugh, but most of all he loved Jesus.

He is preceded in death by four brothers: Carl Troy Ferguson, Thomas Hayston Ferguson, David Ronald Ferguson, and Melvin Ferguson.

Left behind to cherish his memory are three sisters: Edna Overman, Patty Staley, and Martha Stout. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
