Emma Sue Norton

Emma Sue Green Dorritty Norton, 60, of Asheboro died Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Mrs. Norton was born April 26, 1957 in Randolph County the daughter of Woodrow Buster and Strowdie (Poole) Dorritty. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant and had also worked at Furniture Land South. Emma loved her family, her church, enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James A. Dorritty; sister, Nancy Banks.

Emma is survived by three daughters: Belinda Johnston, Brandy Green and Felica Green all of Asheboro; three sons: Eric Hawk of Charlotte, Shane Johnston and Kevin Green both of Asheboro; two sisters: Shirley Hayes of Siler City and Linda Hodgin of Liberty; eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at New Day Ministries, 116 Depot Street, Liberty with Rev. Gail Newsome officiating.
