Emily Shea Bare, 37, of 9582 Edgerton Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC. Ms. Bare was born in Alamance County on August 2, 1974 to James "Jimmy" Bare and Brenda Headen Bare. She was a 1993 graduate of Jordan Matthews High School and attended Central Carolina Community College for three years. Emily was a sales associate with Marshall's Department Store in Myrtle Beach. She loved her job, singing karaoke, and the beach. She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephew, and her cats. She is survived by her father Jimmy Bare and wife, Ann of Siler City; mother, Brenda Headen Bare and her fiance, Douglas F. Baden of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother: Jonathan M. Bare and wife, Kris of Siler City, NC; nieces, Hallie and Lizzie Mae Bare; nephew, Emerson Bare; step-sister, Shelli Clark of Wake Forest, NC; and step-brother, Rodney Capps of Emerald Isle, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC and other times at the home of her father, Jimmy Bare. The funeral will be Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Rocky River Baptist Church, 4436 Siler City-Snow Camp Road, Siler City, NC with Rev. Gene Booker, Rev. Greg Burriss, and Steve Gaines officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
