Obituary

Emily A. Kaufman (21) of Siler City, North Carolina went home to the Lord on August 7th of 2026. Emily was born in Randolph County, NC to parents Christopher M. Kaufman and Tanya L. Cooper.

Emily spent her early childhood in Mebane, NC and then moved to Siler City, NC where she was raised by her loving father. She attended local schools which included Chatham Middle and Jordan Matthews High School. On January 5, 2024 Emily gave birth to her beautiful son, Noah and her focus in life shifted to being a present and doting mother. Noah became Emily’s entire world and she was committed to loving him and giving him the best life possible.

Emily was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Brian Hansen (of Virginia) as well as her paternal Great Grandparents Jack and Shirlee Hansen (of Libertyville, Illinois).

Locally, Emily is survived by her father; Christpher Kaufman, Her son; Noah Cruz (2), her brother; Liam Kaufman (6), her aunt; Jennifer Kaufman, Paternal grandmother; Melissa Milholen, Close cousins; Jason, Kylie and Isabelle, Along with her partner in life; Jonathan Garcia all of Siler City, NC. Emily is also survived by one paternal uncle in Texas, Jonathan Kaufman and many other relatives in Illinois and Florida.

Emily was also survived by her mother; Tanya Cooper, Arianna and Abigail Perea; sisters whom she adored greatly, and grandmother; Salena Cooper all of Asheboro, NC. Emily was also survived by great grandparents; Sue and Gary Cooper of Siler City, NC along with many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
