Edwin Garvey

Edwin "Roger" Garvey, 65, of 1079 Henderson Tanyard Road, Pittsboro, NC died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Garvey was born April 19, 1946 in New York the son of Edwin Roger and Edith Corinne (Gibbons) Garvey, Sr. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Roger was employed by Performance Bicycle in Chapel Hill as facility maintenance. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Linda (Douglas) Garvey; four children, Kennith Garvey of New York, Christine, Eric and Craig; two brothers, Kevin and Brian Garvey both of NY; sisters, Suzanne Poggio of Chicago and Maureen Garvey of California and six grandchildren.
