Dennis Ray Green

Dennis Ray Green, 61, of Siler City, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 18th, 2025.

Dennis was born May 1st, 1964, in Orange County to the late Cassius and Phyllis Gaddis Green. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike, Junior, and Jimmy Green.

Dennis is survived by his lifelong friend, Angela Garner of the home; Angela’s children, Timmy Holt, Krista Holt Sharp, Kari Holt, Larissa Williamson, Bridget Lane, and many grandchildren; his daughters, Tanya Kaufman and Kaitlyn Rose; his son, Jessie Green; his brother Phillip Green and his wife, Gina of Randleman; his nephew, Jameson Green; and many more nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

Dennis worked building bridges in Atlanta, GA. He was also a self-taught lawn mower mechanic.

Dennis loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, and spending time in the mountains. Dennis loved collecting Indian memorabilia and eagles. Dennis was very artistic. He loved painting, making dreamcatchers, and decorating his yard – planting flowers and trees. Dennis also loved animals; he had cats, dogs, and a goat.

Dennis attended New Day Ministries.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at 11;00 am, at New Day Ministries, 116 N. Depot St., Liberty, NC 27298, with Pastor Mike Crigler officiating. Flowers are to be delivered to Smith & Buckner Funeral Home by the morning of Friday, October 10th, 2025.

Smith & Buckner Funeral Home will be assisting the Green family.
