Dana Lynn Laws Wicker, 59, of Siler City, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026, at UNC Chapel Hill surrounded by family.

Dana was born on August 28th, 1966, to the late David and Donna Chaney Laws. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Chuck Wicker.

Dana worked at Walmart for over 30 years. She loved her family, especially her grandkids. She loved her friends. In her spare time, she loved sitting on her porch. She always had a positive outlook on life and was very strong in her faith.

Left to cherish Dana’s memory is her two daughters, Emeilia Ellis and her husband, Mat of Siler City, and Robyn Stafford of Statesville; her son, Chip Wicker of Silk Hope; her grandchildren, Carley, Coltyn, Clayton, Julia, Wyatt, Zoey, Charli, and Waverly; and her two sisters, Valarie Sapp and her husband, Adam of Reidsville, and Miki Bittles of California.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, at 2 pm, at the home (7695 Siler City Snow Camp Rd. Siler City, NC 27344).
