Carolyn Willigman Batchelor

Carolyn Willigman Batchelor, 67, of Bear Creek died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Magnolia House, Sanford.

Carolyn was born in Columbia, South Carolina on January 6, 1950 the daughter of Robert Glenn and the late Lucille (Singletary) Willigman. Carolyn was a homemaker and a beautician. She enjoyed cooking and working in her flower gardens but her greatest pleasure was time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by daughter: Laurie Hess and husband, Jason; son: Robert C. Batchelor both of Bear Creek; sister: Donna K. Patterson of Bear Creek; grandchildren, Katelyn and Hunter Batchelor, Sarah and Alex Hess; friend, Robert Lee Batchelor of Sanford.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sanford with Rev. Donald Burns officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of the daughter Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
