Carlos Gomez Palacios, 20, of Staley passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at his home. Mr. Gomez Palacios was born in Chatham County on May 15, 2001. He is preceded in death by his father, Eligio Gomez. He is survived by his mother; Esperanza Palacios; sisters, Mayra Gomez Palacios and husband Abel Delgadillo, and Perla Garcia; brother, Jose Gomez and wife Heather Krombach; nieces, Brizelle Canela, Daleyza Delgadillo; girlfriend, Wendy Bacilio; aunt, Andrea Palacios; uncle, Juan Reyes; cousins, Yareth Palacios, Cristopher Reyes, J.P. Reyes, Inocencia, Christian, Melannie, and Everlyn Palacios; and all of the Broke Boyz Family. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 6, 2021 at St. Julia's Catholic Parish, 210 Harold Hart Rd., Siler City A graveside service will follow on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Chatham Memorial Park, 13260 Hwy 64 West, Siler City with Father Julio Martinez officiating.
