Alma Joyce Johnson Lineberry

Alma Joyce Johnson Lineberry, 77, of 2459 Mt. Vernon-Hickory Mountain Road, Siler City passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at Siler City Care & Rehabilitation. Mrs. Lineberry was born in Chatham County on February 7, 1936 the daughter of David A. and Allie (Burke) Johnson. She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Junior Johnson. She is survived by her husband: Layton L. Lineberry of the home; three daughters: Pamela McPherson and husband, Ronnie "Mac" of Snow Camp, NC, Rachel Cox of Siler City, NC, Karen Edwards of Siler City, NC; six sisters: Magaline Allred of Asheboro, NC, Shirley Thompson of Yorba Linda, CA, Ruth Smith of Siler City, NC, Linda Welch of Siler City, NC, Judy Luther of Asheboro, NC, Toni Coore of Mt. Vernon Springs, NC; four brothers: Buck Johnson of Siler City, NC, Archie Junior Johnson of Franklinville, NC, Johnny Johnson of Siler City, NC, Keith Johnson of Snow Camp, NC; grandchildren, Chris McPherson, Donna Houtchings, Crystal Richardson, Joy Elfahla, Brittany Gobble and Dustin Cox; great-grandchildren, Aulden and Kailyn Richardson, Alex, Austin and Madison Elfahla and Xavier Gobble. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 3631 Mt. Vernon-Hickory Mountain Road, Siler City with Rev. Jason Dickerson, Keith Johnson and Rev.
