Alberto Aldair Charles Zapata, 19, of Siler City, passed away tragically at his home on July 5th, 2026.

Alberto was born on January 24th, 2026, in Orange County, NC, to Charles Nunez Ines Alberto and Claudia Veronica Zapata Zuniga (2026).

Alberto was in school working on getting his welding certificate and was looking forward to working in that field.

A Celebration of Life service will be held July 24th, 2026, at Casa De Dios A Las Naciones in Staley, NC, at 10 am. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Park at 2 pm. Times are subject to change and will be updated if they do change.

Smith & Buckner Funeral Home will be assisting the Zapata family.
